RN, Manager, Clinical Quality Improvement



Manages the day-to-day Quality Management functions for VNSNY CHOICE products including assignment of tasks and supervision of staff. Identifies opportunities for performance improvement initiatives for all products and integrates activities for all products to ensure efficiency and effectiveness. Assists in the identification of QI project topics and coordinates and collaborates with staff on project management and achievement of goals. Assists with the development of methods and criteria for assessing, measuring and evaluating quality of care, care management services, regulatory compliance and performance of subcontractors to meet program objectives and contractual compliance. Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements for all products. Works under general direction.
Licensure: Current license and registration to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State required.
Education: Bachelor&rsquot;s degree in Nursing required. Master&rsquot;s degree in Nursing preferred.
Experience: Minimum of five years&rsquot; experience in clinical quality improvement and measurement and/or managed care experience required. Minimum of two years supervisory experience required. Strong clinical skills required as they relate to understanding products and how they are being measured. Strong understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements required. Proficient in knowledge of health care delivery systems and patient care required. Effective oral/written communication, presentation skills required. Demonstrated ability to lead staff, or project teams and work in team groups required. Effective offal and written communication, presentation skills required. Proficient with personal computers, including Windows, Excel, Word and Power Point required. Proficiency in the field of training and staff development preferred.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
