Psychiatric Nurse, Manhattan Parachute - Community Mental Health Services

Overview

Responsibilities

Provides health assessments and treatment to clients in the Parachute Treatment Team. Works as a member of an interdisciplinary team and collaborates with team members to implement and revise treatment plans. Advocates for and provides support and education to clients and their families. Works under moderate supervision.

Licensure: License and current registration to practice as a Registered Nurse in NYS required. Valid drivers license may be required, as determined by operational/regional needs.

Education: Associate's degree in Nursing required. Master s degree in Psychiatric Nursing preferred.

Experience:Minimum of one year of recent inpatient, outpatient or home care psychiatric experience required. Bilingual skills may be required, as determined by operational needs

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
