Medical Office Manager - Aesthetic Dermatology & Mohs Surgery

Description

We are recruiting for a Medical Office Manager with experience in private practice performance to organize, oversee and develop a boutique dermatology practice. You will be the responsible to ensure that the practice is well-coordinated and productive by managing its, growth, procedures and managing the team. The areas of responsibility for this role are extensive and thus requires a thorough knowledge of various practice processes as well as knowledge of healthcare systems and operations in Dermatology and Mohs Surgery. The ideal candidate must be strategic and able to plan many different kinds of operational activities. He/She must be an excellent leader who can discover the most efficient ways to run the business. The goal is to safeguard and augment the efficiency of the practice s operations to facilitate accelerating development and long-term success.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work with leadership team to make decisions for overall practice operational activities and set strategic goals
  • Liaise with doctors, physician assistants and nurses to identify potential office dysfunctions
  • Plan and monitor the day-to-day running of administration operations to ensure smooth progress
  • Oversee the staff and provide constructive feedback
  • Evaluate regularly the efficiency of business procedures according to organizational objectives and apply improvements
  • Oversee the patient/customer support processes and organize them to enhance their satisfaction
  • Revise and/or formulate policies and promote their implementation for all operational procedures
  • Manage relationships/agreements with external partners/vendors/pharmaceutical companies
  • Evaluate overall performance by gathering, analyzing and interpreting data and metrics
  • HR Management: employee manuals & regularly scheduled reviews
  • Monitor budget, expenses, billing payments and suggest cost-effective alternatives
  • Review financial information and adjust operational budgets to promote profitability
  • Payroll, commissions, sales & create quarterly & annual budgets
  • Supervise office staff: Delegate appropriate staff responsibilities and monitor staff performance
  • Maintain organized medical and staff records
  • Prepare work schedules
  • Train new employees
  • Run regularly scheduled staff meetings
  • Generate inventory records
  • Ensure compliance with current healthcare regulations, medical laws and high ethical standards


Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
